Today is Alexey Pichugin’s birthday. Yet another birthday in jail. Yet another day without freedom, one of many thousands of such days. But Alexey is a man of remarkable light, rare resilience and bravery. A man of unreal courage and honor. We remember his tragedy and his fate every day, and we will never forget. You too – please remember. It’s very important. I wish Alexey what everyone needs, especially health and freedom. I wish him many-many birthdays ahead – at home, with his family, his near and dears, free. I wish the nightmare he’s enduring passes, and those guilty of it are punished. And that will certainly happen, it absolutely will!
