New Podcast Series “The Big Steal” Features Segment on Alexey Pichugin

“The Big Steal” is a podcast series by Scottish journalist Gavin Esler, in which he tells the story of what he says is “the biggest theft in history: the resources of the biggest country in the world, Russia, by its own government.”

In the fifth installment of the series, entitled “The American who made Putin Furious,” Esler profiles “Russia’s journey from democracy to kleptocracy, as the Putin regime attempts to erode democracy across the globe.” He explores the stories of some of the victims of Vladimir Putin’s corruption.
