Alexei Pichugin transported from prison camp; destination unknown

Former Yukos security staffer Alexei Pichugin, serving life at the IK-6 (“Black Dolphin”) prison camp in Sol-Iletzk, Orenburg Region, has been transported from the prison camp to an unknown destination, reports Novya Gazeta, citing penitentiary system sources.
According to those sources, “convict Pichugin is currently not at the IK-6 correctional facility. He has been transported from there on an emergency basis.”
The former Yukos staffer’s lawyers were not able to confirm this information to Novaya Gazeta.
